Membership Information
Membership is based on an annual calendar year schedule. Membership renewal applications will be mailed in January of each year, with payment requested by April 1st. Any member who has not renewed his/her NFCA membership by April 1st is delinquent and his/her name will be removed from the Organizational Membership Roster and mailing lists.

Paid FireFighter Membership
Includes all ranks of chief officers, paid or volunteer, of any organized and legally constituted fire department in the State of Nevada or public safety personnel who are in an administrative capacity and directly associated with the fire service.
Volunteer MembershipPaid FireFighter MembershipDepartment Membership
Is based upon the number of paid fire suppression employees. The department dues are applicable to an unlimited number of chief officers. Each chief officer will be registered as an individual member and classified as an active member.
Department MembershipVendor Membership
Includes persons, firms, and corporations engaged in the sale or manufacture of fire apparatus, equipment, devices or general fire department supplies shall be eligible for Vendor Membership upon the payment of annual dues. Such members shall be entitled to all the privileges of the Association except the right to vote or hold elective office.
Vendor MembershipAssociate Membership
Includes educators, law enforcement officers, retired chief officers with less than ten years as an Association member, and other public safety personnel. Such members shall be entitled to all the privileges of the Association except the right to vote or hold elective office.
Associate MembershipHonorary Membership
Be those persons voted upon by the Association that will include, but not be limited to city, county and state officials. Such members shall be entitled to all the privileges of the Association except the right to vote or hold elective office.
Life Membership
Be those persons who have had at least ten (10) years active membership status in good standing with the Association and have retired from the Fire Service. Life membership will also be extended to those persons who have served for two or more years as an officer or trustee of this Association and have had at least 5 years of active membership status.
