Nevada Volunteer Firefighter Application

Nevada fire departments are seeking men & women 18 years old, with a desire to keep your community safe. No experience is neccessary. We will provide the training.

Firefighting is not an easy job. As firefighters, we share the responsibility to keep the community safe 24/7. With this responsibility comes a great deal of satisfaction in being there for your fellow community members when they need help, the comradary you build working on a fire crew and by making new friends in the community. Volunteers minimum requirements vary, but all there's a required initial training and a minimum monthly commitment of around 24 hours of being on call or activly volunteering.

If you're ready to become a volunteer firefighter, simply fill out the application below and the Nevada Fire Chiefs Association will forward the information you provided to the fire department(s) in your area.


Most firefighting jobs are highly competitive & require a strong resume. Volunteers gain experience & training that strengthens a resume.
